On The Brink Of Modernity, In Belgium

What a smashing little coin this is. I know what you're thinking, it's not that old... I know! But that doesn't stop me appreciating its beauty! The 25 Centimes - Baudouin was minted between 1964-1975 so there's only a handful of coins looking like this! That's not to say it's rare because 20 Million of this particular coin was produced. I reckon if I lived until 300 years old this might be rare?

It is 2 grams of copper-nickel, but what a shame it isn't silver. A coin this beautiful SHOULD BE SILVER.
